Meet Juliana

The Miami-based CF-SLP behind Glottis Goddess.

Juliana Schlaen

Hi, I'm Juliana.

I'm a bilingual speech-language pathologist (M.S., CF-SLP) working out of ENT clinics across Miami. My clinical home is The Voice Rehab, in collaboration with South Florida ENT Associates, where I see patients for voice, swallow, and upper airway disorders in both English and Spanish.

I started @glottisgoddess because so much of what circulates online about the voice and swallow is confident, charismatic, and clinically wrong. My goal is simple: make the anatomy clear, the advice evidence-based, and the whole thing actually fun to watch.

I trained at the Medical University of South Carolina and am currently completing my clinical fellowship under Melissa Grassia-Chisholm, MS CCC-SLP. It's all about the patient. Everything else is detail.

The mission

Good voice and swallow care shouldn't be gatekept behind a specialist referral and a three-month waitlist. Glottis Goddess exists to translate the best of voice science into things you can actually use: on Instagram, in a session, and everywhere in between.
